This page explains what you agree to when you opt in to marketing notifications at checkout, how we use your phone number, and how to opt out.
What you're consenting to
The marketing checkbox at checkout is entirely optional and separate from your order. When you tick it, you agree to receive occasional marketing messages — such as offers, new arrivals, and news — by SMS to the phone number you provide. Leaving it unticked has no effect on your order; we will still send the transactional messages needed to fulfil and update it.
What we store
We store your phone number, whether you consented, and the date your current choice was recorded, against your customer record. Your phone number is also verified during checkout. We do not sell or share your number with third parties for their own marketing.
How we use it
If you opt in, we may send marketing SMS to your number. The frequency is limited and every message relates to WiseWine products and offers.
Withdrawing consent
You can opt out at any time — untick the marketing box on your next checkout, reply to ask us to stop, or contact us using the details below. Withdrawing consent only affects marketing messages, not order-related ones.
How long we keep it
We keep your consent choice for as long as you have an account with us or until you withdraw it, after which we stop sending marketing messages.
